What is slow fashion?
Most garments are produced in factories.
Annie Flats is sewn by one, yes one sewer who works in conjunction with the designer to produce one of a kind and limited edition garments.
The fabrics are sourced from all over the world with sustainability in ethical manufacturing in mind.
Designer Statement
Clothing is architecture for the body.
My designs follow the architecture of nature, the blend of structure and fluidity.
As with nature, I combine unexpected color combinations and mixtures of textures.

I met Leticia 10 years ago in Washington, D.C., where she worked on the production line for a clothing manufacturer.
We started working together on my children’s clothing line, Inklings, and we have been working together ever since.
She now owns her own business, is the epitomy of the American dream, and returns regularly with her family to her native country, Guatemala.
